Meet Dave Mock

An Orange County, California native, Dave has enjoyed his professional career as an electrical engineer while simultaneously sharing a passion for business development and investing. Possessing the rare gift of speaking both "engineer" and laymen, Dave has developed extensive work that helps unravel the confusion surrounding mobile technology. He has written extensively about wireless technology and markets for several online publications including Unstrung.com, WirelessDevNet, TheFeature.com, and The Motley Fool. Dave has also developed a broad line of reports and research aimed at investors as well as telecom industry staff to articulate the significance of wireless technology, standards and market dynamics.

Dave also provides wireless corporations with strategy and education consulting services, providing the "big picture' insight that many corporations need to reach the next level.

As an author, Dave first teamed up with renowned financial expert Tom Taulli to deliver to investors the first book exclusively dedicated towards capitalizing on wireless technology - Tapping into Wireless with publisher McGraw-Hill in March 2002.

For his next hardcover work, Dave took the challenge of writing the long overdue corporate biography on wireless kingpin Qualcomm. An independent look at their founding, technology development and business model, The QUALCOMM Equation appeared with publisher AMACOM in February, 2005. Dave lives in Placentia, California with his wife and three children.
